The Power of Unity

There is power in unity. We can only accomplish so much on our own, but together we can create a movement that brings tangible change and creates a future of hope. We invite you to join us in breaking down the barriers that have hindered Native American youth from thriving and seizing their dreams. 

You can be a part of equipping this generation of Native youth with the tools and resources they need to embrace their cultural heritage, break free from negative circumstances, and overcome the prejudiced stereotypes that have threatened to rob them of their very identity.

Pauletta B. joined us by starting her own Facebook fundraiser stating, "I'm raising money for Native Hope. Every little bit helps! This cause means a lot to me, and I believe that we can make a difference together."

Adding their voice

Many of our donors share their personal motivation for joining Native Hope, helping us raise awareness and funds that benefit progams impacting Native American youth:

Tangible change

Many others share their passion for joining our community as we all strive to diligently support programs that offer education and mentorship; suicide prevention and counseling; crucial resources for victims of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and abuse; Lakota language training and cultural renewal; and finding solutions for transgenerational trauma.

Terra D. states, “I am donating because I believe our future generations have so much to offer.”

Joanne K. shares, "My goal is to try to make people understand, to look at others and see a 'person.' We were all born; we have mothers, fathers, and families. We are much more alike than different. We want to be able to worship, raise our children, practice our customs, and have others do the same. Sharing our customs would be beautiful; I hope I am around when this happens."

An anonymous donor shares, “It is important for us to remember where we came from and to honor the legacy they left. May this bring hope and inspiration to those who need it.”

Marthanna J. states, “I have always felt a kinship with the indigenous people. The way your social structure is, your belief in the natural world, and our footprint on the earth. I also feel ashamed of my ancestors' part in destroying the tribes and your way of life. I don't have much but will share what little I have.”
